ServiceMaster NCR State-of-the-Art Technology – Alexandria VA & Washington DC
As part of ServiceMaster NCR’s dedication to bringing you quality disaster restoration and cleaning services, we use the most advanced, state-of-the-art technology available in the industry to provide the best possible results. Read about the different technologies we use to help insure that our services are performed to the highest standards.
Mobile Service Manager (MSM)
The Mobile Service Manager, or MSM, is the portable computer used by all of our field technicians. The MSM includes software that automates several of our services including water mitigation and pack-outs and it also allows our technicians to upload relevant data to XactAnalysis and Xactimate. Using IICRC standards, the MSM can also provide accurate estimates and equipment sizing.
When it comes to eliminating strong odors, the OdorKlenz Air Nano Cartridge is very effective. This cartridge is non-invasive and eco-friendly which makes it perfectly safe for people and pets. It is used in hepa air scrubbers to help eliminate odors from water damage, fire and smoke, trauma scenes, and other natural disasters.
In addition to Nano cartridges, we also use Odorox hydroxyl products to remove a variety of odors from smoke, floods, mold, and other disasters. Hydroxyl technology naturally breaks down harmful compounds to eliminate odors in a natural way that is safe for people and pets. It is best suited to remove odors from water damage, smoke, mold, and trauma scenes involving biohazard materials.
The use of infrared technology is important for detecting hidden problems in a home or building. Infrared thermal imaging technology detects heat and temperature differences and shows these differences on a visual display that allow our technicians to locate hidden water leaks and mold growth without tearing apart your walls. Every object above absolute zero emits radiation that is detected by infrared thermal technology which allows us to create an accurate visual of an area that is dark or hidden.
The FLIR ONE is an accessory built for the iPhone 5 or 5S that along with a mobile app, turns our phones into a thermal imager. The attachment and software allow ServiceMaster NCR to see thermal images of the environment through the phone’s camera. This allows us to see the temperature variances throughout the building and help detect hidden energy leaks, water leaks, mold, and any activity in the dark. You can learn more about FLIR ONE here.
InstaScope is an airborne mold-assessment system that immediately delivers scientifically accurate, room-by-room results. Using InstaScope, a ServiceMaster NCR certified operator
can instantly differentiate between rooms with normal airborne mold levels that need no treatment, rooms with elevated airborne mold levels which may require a simple cleaning by a mitigation professional and rooms with higher airborne mold levels and an active mold source that may require targeted remediation. More information about InstaScope is available HERE.
